"Calla Lily in White"
This is my latest artistic endeavor..........sculpting leftover drywall. Then painting it with oils.
It is quite the challenge, as it is very fragile and once you have lost a piece, you have to make do. That's part of the challenge that I like.......it makes me really think about that next cut. For the most part, though, it is very relaxing and tends to direct you where it wants to go.
This was my first one...........I have since completed 3 others. I will post some photos of them later.
All three are on display at the Diane Kidd Gallery at Tiffin University, in Tiffin, Ohio through April 11.
